Seddon Cup
Schoolboys Colts Cricket Competition

Overview

The Seddon Cup is now in its third season and has become one of the most anticipated fixtures on the junior cricket calendar.

Designed for Year 9 and 10 players, it gives schoolboy cricketers the chance to play traditional 110-over declaration cricket – a format that develops patience, skill, and teamwork in a way shorter games cannot.

For 2025/26, the competition expands with the new Wanderers Cup run by Wellington Wanderers Cricket Club. The winners of both competitions will face off in a Grand Final for the Evan Gray Cup, creating an exciting North vs South showdown.
